Hi, I’m Emma! I’m a wedding photographer based in the Okanagan, British Columbia.
I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. My dad taught me how to use his old Nikon film camera when I was in elementary school and I loved it from the moment I started. When I graduated I bought my first big DSLR and took it on a two-month trip. It was easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve been documenting life ever since and eventually turned that into my full-time business in 2019. While I officially launched Emma Tassie Photography that year, my roots go way deeper.
My specialty is people, and I gravitate towards playful + intimate shoots. I specialize in engagement shoots + weddings, and also do family + brand photography on the side. I’m here for it all!

I’m not here to pose you into someone you’re not. I’m here for the real stuff. The forehead kisses, nervous laughter, windblown hair, and the way your person looks at you when you’re not watching. You already look amazing. My job is to make you feel safe, seen, and celebrated exactly as you are.
